For those of you that run propane in your rigs, where around Springfield do you get it filled? What does it usually cost you?
The road less traveled isn't necessarily a road.

I DON'T RUN PROPANE BUT --- PRAXAIR (FORMERLY KIRK WELDING SUPPLY) 1910 EAST COMMERCIAL FILLS TANKS.
I THINK SINCE THE TANK TRADE DEAL LIKE WALMART BECAME POPULAR, PROPANE COMPANIES ARE RELUCTANT TO MESS WITH THEM UNLESS YOU ARE A CUSTOMER. THEY CAN BE FILLED OFF OF THE DELIVERY TRUCK BUT MOST OF THEM DON'T LIKE TO MESS WITH THE SMALL QUANTITY.
SOME RV PARKS AND TRUCK STOPS ARE SET UP TO FILL THEM.

IF YOUR TANKS ARE ATTACHED TO THE VEHICLE OR YOU TELL THEM IT IS MOTOR FUEL THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO COLLECT ROAD USE TAX.

I use propane on my rig and I get it at Rex Smith oil at the corner of West bypass and Kearney in Springfield. They are the cheapest i have found.
