It's a 460, which I know was not an original motor for that truck. Right now it has a cobbled up set of motor and frame mounts. I believe what I need is to find a set of 351m/400m towers and a different set of motor mounts (although I don't know which yet). I'm still trying to research it all out.

What I have is the 460 from 77 2wd and butchered the frame mounts to make it fit. 10 years ago when I was broke and dumb it sure seemed like a good idea. How I wish I would just found the right motor mounts.

I have a set of 351m frame mounts and that is what you need. you can use 351c engine mounts and modify them to fit the 460 but it would be better to find the early factory plates that go behind the mounts that relocate the mounts for proper fit. They are hard to find they came on 77-79 3/4 and one ton trucks with 460. BT (417)767-2717

I'm going to get a set of the aftermarket motor mounts from bronco graveyard and I'll be calling you about the 351m towers.
