I wouldnt worry about it.When it drops to 0 then you have a problem.I ran my 97 for 2 years like that never had a problem.
If your not on the edge your taking up to much space.

The rule of thumb for oil pressure is 10 psi for every 1000 rpm of engine speed, also pressure does not equal volume. Some engines can run on low oil pressure that would turn the light on the dash on,and still be fine,as long as the pressure is steady. My 4.0L in my cherokee I had would get down to 10psi at a hot idle, but it idled at about 700-800rpm.If pressure drops to,say,8psi and does not increase with engine rpm, then you have a problem.Red flags are unsteady readings, obviously a reading of 0 is bad,in which you would need to shut the engine off ASAP,and very high steady readings after warmup(75-80psi for the 4L,unless you have a high volume pump).Your Jeep sounds fine, and the 4L is a very tough, simple and reliable plant( I have owned 4 of them). ;D
